Jamie & Jeff
Certain weddings hold extra significance because of the connection you share with the couple, and Jeff and Jamie's wedding was one of those occasions for me. It's a special privilege to work with someone you know personally!
On Sunday, October 18, Jeff and Jamie celebrated their beautiful wedding at Historic Acres of Hershey. The weather was perfect! The day was full of happiness, from the touching moments and laughter to the joyful tears. I don't think anyone remained dry-eyed!
Jamie and her ladies looked absolutely breathtaking! I can't stop thinking about her dress and veil from Unveiled. Makeup by Allie Renee Bridal and hair by Melena Soto completed the look beautifully. I also love the decision to use wooden flowers; they're a wonderful keepsake from the day that will last for years!
Jeff and the guys looked fantastic in their gray suits. I particularly adore the photo of them together, even though they couldn't see each other. There was no first look, but it was a special moment between them before the ceremony.
The ceremony began with a mix of emotion and humor! At Historic Acres, one of the ceremony locations is by the pond, a stunning setting! Before Jamie walked down the aisle, a brief message was played for Jeff that seemed to bring tears to everyone's eyes. It was a touching moment as she was escorted by her son, David. Once she joined Jeff at the front, guests were invited to take a few photos before the start of their unplugged ceremony.
Reverend Bitsy conducted the ceremony, which was filled with smiles, songs, vows, and joy. Jeff and Jamie each have a son (Luka & David), so this celebration was about more than just their marriage. It was about uniting the people they cherish and celebrating the family they are creating together. To symbolize this aspect of the day, the four of them assembled a puzzle.
Photographing Jeff and Jamie’s wedding was personally meaningful to me. I’ve known Jeff for years through our work in the wedding industry. I’ve also gotten to know Jamie over the years, having photographed their family portraits three years ago, making this opportunity to capture their next chapter particularly special.
You never know where you’ll meet your person. For Jeff and Jamie, that place was a pinball league! What started with a shared interest turned into something so much bigger. One of the things I love most about these two is how genuinely happy they make each other. They support one another in everything, and you can see how much they enjoy having each other by their sides. They’ve found a partner who cheers them on, makes them smile, and is ready to take on life together.
The reception in the pavilion began with dancing and toasts, followed by a delicious meal from Legacy Catering. The pavilion's setup looked fantastic, thanks to the incredible coordination by MX2 Designs!
The emotion of the day was truly unforgettable! You could feel the incredible bond between Jeff and Jamie and see how overjoyed everyone was to celebrate their marriage.
The remainder of the evening featured delightful desserts from Wesley Made Sweets, lively music and entertainment by Klock Entertainment, and an overall amazing time with friends and family.
