Kenna and Alex’s September 26, 2026 wedding at Creekside Meadows in Shippensburg was one of those days that felt completely personal from beginning to end!

Kenna got ready at home with her bridesmaids, who each chose their own black dress and paired it with cowboy boots. The result was a fun, relaxed look that fit the day perfectly. The groom and groomsmen got ready at the venue and also wore cowboy boots paired with shirts and jeans. They all looked fantastic and relaxed!

With its rustic setting, beautiful creek, and open spaces, Creekside Meadows was an absolute perfect backdrop for photos.

The ceremony was especially meaningful because it was performed by Alex’s aunt. And, of course, Kenna and Alex’s dogs, Koi and Bentley, had to be part of the celebration, too.

It began raining just after the ceremony, but Kenna and Alex didn't let it ruin their day. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful time in the pavilion.

The reception was filled with special desserts from their family and friends. And they didn't just bring the desserts; they included the recipes so guests could recreate their favorites at home. It was such a fun way to share something homemade with everyone who came to celebrate.

Another little detail I loved was the anniversary cards placed on each table. Guests could write a message for Kenna and Alex to open on their first anniversary, giving them something to look forward to long after the wedding day was over.

Alex's passion for cars was evident! The original plan was to have a car show during the reception, but unfortunately, the rain meant the car show had to be scaled back. And really, that seemed to be the theme of the whole day: making the wedding their own.

Following a fantastic meal provided by 951BBQ, the guests hit the dance floor under the guidance of DJ Jordan. Everyone had an incredible time!

The weather changed the plans, but it didn't change the smiles. There were dogs, cowboy boots, homemade desserts, family recipes, cars, a creek, a gorgeous sunset, and plenty of laughter. Most importantly, there were two people who couldn't stop smiling as they celebrated the beginning of their life together.

Congratulations, Kenna and Alex! It was such a joy to be there to capture your day, and I hope reading your anniversary cards becomes a cherished tradition for many years!
