On Saturday, Oct. 4, Kendra and Shawn celebrated the start of a new chapter surrounded by family, friends, and the rustic charm at Farm 1840 in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Kendra looked absolutely beautiful—her smile said it all. Her daughters, sisters, and the flower girl were just as lovely, and together they made such a gorgeous group. The flowers by Sarah’s Floral Design added the perfect touch, tying everything together with simple, natural elegance.
Shawn was such a character—full of energy, laughter, and personality that kept everyone smiling all day. You could tell he was having the time of his life. The ring bearers completely stole the show, and the groomsmen made sure there was never a dull moment.
They shared a first look before the ceremony, and it was such a sweet, genuine moment between them. The excitement, the nerves, and the love they have for each other all came through in that instant. It was quiet, emotional, and full of joy—one of those moments that remind you exactly why wedding days are so special. These are some of my favorite memories from their day.
The chapel at Farm 1840 is stunning! I love all the flowers and touches of color that Kendra and Shawn included.
The ceremony was full of happy tears and plenty of laughter. Their vows to each other were so heartfelt and sweet. Shawn made a special point to include Kendra’s daughters, giving each of them something meaningful during the ceremony. I especially loved their unity ceremony with the flowers—it was such a beautiful touch. Once the ceremony wrapped, the adults in the wedding party shared a quick, toast to celebrate the newlyweds. Orange crush drinks were a signature drink and a hit at this wedding!
Working with this couple was such a joy! Together, they’re a perfect pair—playful, loving, and clearly excited to share their day with the people who mean the most to them.
The barn looked absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated with warm, fall-inspired touches. Rich autumn colors, cozy textures, and thoughtful details made the space feel both elegant and inviting.
The reception was such a fun and unforgettable celebration! Tasteful Affairs served up a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed, and the evening continued with a packed dance floor thanks to DJ Kraig Nace from Juke Box Hits, who kept the energy high all night. Farm 1840 did an amazing job making the space look beautiful and feel welcoming. There was a sweet toast, a joyful cake cutting, and heartfelt dances—including the father-daughter and mother-son dances. In a lovely twist, Kendra also danced with Shawn’s stepdad, and Shawn danced with her mom.
Kendra and Shawn, you were such a joy to work with! Your warmth, energy, and love for each other made every moment of the day so special. Thank you both for trusting Conte Photography to capture your wedding—I feel so honored to have been part of your new chapter and special day.
